Why we build Looties in public
Looties is a marketplace for people who collect, buy, and sell tech swag, conference merch, and developer gear. Most marketplaces don't share where they're going. We do. Because transparency builds trust and reduces frustration. When you know what's being evaluated, what's in progress, and what's shipped, you make better decisions about how to use the platform.
Publishing a roadmap is also a signal about our DNA. We're a tech company, and tech culture values openness. That shouldn't live only in an internal Notion page. It should show up here too.
What does it mean for Looters?
The roadmap reflects the real Looties experience: the shipping logic, the listing tools, the AI features that make it unique. Every item maps to something a buyer or seller would feel directly.
If a feature you rely on isn't listed, it's either already stable (and considered GA) or hasn't cleared our validation bar yet. Stages update as confidence grows. We avoid publishing dates until we're ready to ship, so you're never left guessing. And since we ship every day, you might occasionally discover something that hasn't made it onto the roadmap yet. We hope it's a good surprise.
