Frequently Asked Questions
This is a legal requirement, not a Looties choice.
Stripe must verify who receives money and where payouts go. This process is called KYC (Know Your Customer) and applies to everyone, even occasional sellers.
Not yet.
Reducing shipping costs is one of our top priorities because it directly improves the buyer–seller experience. Bundles are part of that thinking.
It's early, but we're actively working toward better solutions.
Looties supports domestic and international shipping and currently works with 6 carriers to ensure reliable delivery.
We are currently covering the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Austria, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Czechia, Monaco, and Andorra.
Available options and specific carrier choices are always shown before checkout.
Buyer Protection ensures your order is covered against theft, loss, or damage during transit and delivery. If an issue occurs, we reimburse the full sales value of the product. Please note that Buyer Protection does not cover the reimbursement of service fees or shipping fees.
How to file a claim:
To keep things simple, all claims must be made directly to support@looties.io. Our team will assist you in resolving the matter quickly.
Is it mandatory?
Yes. Opt-out is not possible because trust and security are non-negotiable. Allowing opt-outs would weaken the protection we guarantee for every member of our community.
Refunds are issued only when justified: item not shipped, delivery failure, approved return, or validated dispute.
When a refund happens, the buyer is refunded, the seller is informed, and the process is transparent.
Service fees are not refunded. Payment processing and operational costs are already incurred, and these fees exist to support the platform and buyer protection.
We don't actively "police" fraud ourselves.
Fraud isn't just a platform issue — it's a legal one. By using Looties, users legally commit not to sell prohibited items, misrepresent products, or attempt fraud.
This legal commitment is our current foundation. As we grow, we plan to work more closely with partners to strengthen prevention mechanisms.
