Question 1

Is Looties a true Vinted alternative for tech swag?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for tech merch specifically. Vinted is the right tool when you want raw volume of buyers across general fashion, but tech swag (conference t-shirts, developer hoodies, hackathon stickers) lands in the wrong category there. Looties is a marketplace where developers and tech enthusiasts buy and sell conference swag, limited-edition merch, and developer gear, so listings reach people who actually recognize what you're selling.

Question 2

Does Looties ship across Europe like Vinted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Looties supports shipping from sellers in Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Austria, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the UK) to buyers in those countries, in Switzerland, and in the US. US-based sellers can ship to US buyers domestically, and Canadian sellers can ship to Canadian buyers domestically. US–Canada cross-border shipping is not available.

Question 3

How are Looties fees structured compared to Vinted?

Accepted Answer

Looties is free to list. A flat service fee is added at checkout (paid by the buyer) which includes Buyer Protection on every order. See the full breakdown on the pricing page.

Question 4

What kinds of items work better on Looties than on Vinted?

Accepted Answer

Anything tech-branded: conference hoodies and tees, onboarding kits, sticker packs, mugs, plushies, lanyards, limited-edition merch from companies like Microsoft, GitHub, MongoDB, Baseten, Pruna AI, and Together AI. If you'd describe the item by its company or conference name, it belongs on Looties.
